About Me

I know what it feels like to wake up in the morning and feel like it’s still the middle of the night. 

 

Throughout my late 20s and much of my 30s, that was my normal. As a busy mother of young children, juggling the constant demands of family life, I found myself running on empty — exhausted, low in mood, snappy, and constantly reaching for sugar to get through the day. I’d finish whatever was left on the kids’ plates, collapse in the evening, and wonder where my energy — and joy — had gone. 

 

One morning, I woke up and thought, “Surely it doesn’t have to be like this.” That was the turning point. It’s where my personal journey into health and nutrition began. I wanted to feel better. I wanted to show up fully for my family. And I knew deep down that if I didn’t start taking care of myself, I wouldn’t be able to support anyone else in the way I wanted to. 

 

I fell into the trap that so many women do — trying all the fad diets, cutting out entire food groups, over-exercising, and under-fuelling my body in the hope it would lead to lasting change. But instead of feeling better, I felt more depleted, more frustrated, and more disconnected from my body than ever. Eventually, I came to realise that there is no quick fix. No magic diet or perfect plan. What actually works is creating small, sustainable changes that support your body — not punish it — and being consistent with them over time. That’s where true, lasting transformation happens. 

 

Today, I use that experience — along with my training in health and nutrition — to help other women who are exactly where I once was. Women who are overwhelmed, exhausted, and wondering how they lost themselves along the way. 

 

Because here’s what I’ve learned: more energy changes everything. 

When you feel energised, your whole day shifts. You’re more productive, more present, and better able to care for yourself and the people you love. You show up with clarity, purpose, and a renewed sense of self.
